Come Find Me at Pride: Taipei on October 31, Kaohsiung on December 5

Will invites you to Taiwan Pride in Taipei (Oct 31) and Kaohsiung Pride (Dec 5). Barely dressed, masked, and ready to say hello. Come be visible.

A powerful nude male figure stands silhouetted against a sunlit forest canopy, his form carved by dramatic shadows and dappled light filtering through the leaves, evoking a sense of raw connection to nature and quiet defiance.

It's already October 16. National Day has come and gone, the long weekend is over, and I hope yours was a good one. Belated happy birthday, Taiwan.

I've spent most of this month recording the same invitation over and over, because I want it to reach you before the day arrives. So here it is again.

Taiwan Pride is Saturday, October 31, in Taipei. Kaohsiung Pride is Saturday, December 5, at the Dayong Road and Hexi Road intersection in Kaohsiung. I'll be at both. I'd really like to meet you there.

A few practical things, because people always ask.

I won't be dressed the way I am in my usual videos. I can't be, not legally. There will be fabric. Enough to cover the parts that have to be covered, and not much of it, so most of me gets to stand in the sun the way I prefer to. I'm still working out the exact shape of it.

I'll probably wear a mask as well. I have a job, and some people in my family don't know this side of my life. I'd like to keep it that way for now. That isn't shame. It's just my life, and I get to decide who holds which parts of it.

If you spot me in the crowd, come over. Say hi. I mean it. And if you're feeling cheeky about it, ask first, and I'll probably say yes. I'd rather you ask than hover.

Now, why this year matters more than usual. I keep reposting because queer and trans people are under real pressure right now, here and in a lot of other places. Laws, rhetoric, the low daily hum of people deciding we're a problem again. A parade doesn't fix any of that. But being seen in a crowd does something to a person. The one walking, and the one watching from the sidewalk who needed to see it.

I came to naturism because I wanted to stop hiding in one specific way. Pride is the same instinct wearing different clothes, or in my case, almost none. My body isn't a costume. It also isn't an emergency.

So come be loud. Come be visible. If you can't make it, share something instead. A post, a video, a link, one honest sentence to a friend who's gone quiet lately. That counts too.

And if you do come, find me. I'll be the one wearing the least and grinning the most.

Which one are you coming to — Taipei on the 31st, Kaohsiung on the 5th, or both? Tell me so I know who to look for in the crowd.
